We are currently reading in search of a novel to publish in Spring of 2027. We will have an open contest in late 2027, but in the meantime we are looking for writers in one of two categories:
• Writers who have published on a major or major-indie American press
• Debut writers who have had an agented manuscript sent out on submission
We do not have an exhaustive definition of “major-indie” but Graywolf, Tin House, Dorothy, Sarabande and Fonograf are a few of the presses we admire. You know who the majors are.
It’s okay if your first book was a story collection so long as what you’re sending us now is a novel.
